Ever Leave an Interview Wondering How it Went?

All too often, candidates leave interviews wondering how they did and whether they got the job. Here are a couple of tips to help you cinch your next interview. First, come prepared. Know about the company you are interviewing for and become interested in what they are doing. How is their product or service impacting their space or field? Next, ask questions. Your questions can be around the company’s direction, a day in the life of the open role or about the team you would be working on. Lastly, express interest in the position. Try a closing question like, “based on the time we have spent together during the interview process, is there any reason I wouldn’t be your top candidate?” Asking this question will allow you to gain an understanding of where you stand in the process. Based on the interviewers’ response, it will give you the opportunity to address any concerns or questions they may have had about your candidacy and remind them how interested you are in joining their team. Perfect way to end the interview!
